However, despite its popularity, zirconia presents specific clinical challenges, particularly regarding material selection, preparation design, and cementation protocols. A comprehensive understanding of zirconia’s indications, limitations, and bonding strategies is essential to achieve predictable and long-term clinical outcomes. This lecture aims to provide clinicians with a practical overview of zirconia restorations, focusing on correct case selection, surface treatment, and reliable cementation procedures.
